The cuisine of the former Soviet republic of Armenia combines the Mediterranean sea with the Caucasus mountains, with strong influences from Eastern Europe, Turkey and the Middle East. and, to a lesser extent, from the Balkans. Anoushabour (Sweet Fruit Soup)
The dessert is a treat in itself. A mixture of nuts and dried fruits, such as peach and sultanas, cooked in a sweet cinnamon sauce. Served, to your taste, cold or warm or lukewarm.
