SPECIAL FROM SWITZERLAND

Cheese and chocolate belong to the Swiss culinary heritage so you will find them in our Swiss dishes tonight as well. But Switzerland offered more to the world than just this. Quiche, rösti and müesli are Swiss creations as well. As long as we are not open for breakfasts yet, you will miss the müesli on our menu. But other typical Swiss specials can be eaten tonight. Enjoy!
Broccoli Cheese Soup
Say Switzerland, say cheese. No wonder therefore that at least one of our dishes tonight has Swiss cheese as a main ingredient. We have chosen a tasty broccoli cheese soup to start with.
Veal Quiche
with Rösti
(Swiss Potato Cookies)
The quiche is for Switzerland what the pizza is for Italy: a national product that found its way to kitchens and tables all over the world in as many variations as there are ingredients. We serve a Swiss quiche with (imported) veal meat, mushrooms and asparagus. And we combine it with rösti, the small typically Swiss cookies made of shredded roast potatoes and onions.
Brischtner Nytlae
(Pears Poached in Wine)
with Chocolate Cake
A special dessert from the central Swiss kanton of Uri - the land of William Tell: dried pears poached in red wine, covered with a honey-lemon sauce. We combine it with that other famous element of Swiss cuisine: chocolate cake.
